Yogscast: Vengeance part 6Ridge and Lomadia had a plan. Ridge would distract Rythian while Lomadia would clear everyone out.
It was strange, though. When Zoeya opened the door, she looked a bit surprised to see them, but when Rythian came up behind her and saw who had knocked on the door, his eyes went wide and his face went pale as if he had just seen death itself.
“Hey Zoeya,” said Lomadia casually. “Can we talk?”
“Uh, sure,” said Zoeya, glancing nervously at Ridge.
“Oh don't worry,” said Ridge. “I'm just here to make sure there's no... funny business.” He looked right at Rythian as he said this, and Rythian quickly looked down to avoid eye contact.
Zoeya picked up on the action, which sparked her suspicious nature.
“Okay, let's talk,” she said to Lomadia, who nodded and gestured for her to follow.
“Should I come too?” asked Rythian hurriedly.
“No, we'll be fine,” said Zoeya. “Why don't you stay here and catc
Enderbeast ExperimentsWhen Nano woke up, it was quiet and peaceful. She knew immediately that something was off.
Yawning and sitting up in her bed, she looked around and spotted a note sitting on her bedside table. She picked it up, recognizing Lalna's scrawling handwriting.
Xephos and Honeydew are trying to get to the moon, and they'll probably die if I'm not there. I'll be back tonight. Help yourself to the booze and don't blow anything up.
Nano rolled her eyes when she saw he had drawn a little heart next to his name.
Knowing that nothing would suddenly explode, Nano relaxed for a bit before getting out of bed and getting dressed. Then she wandered around the castle for a bit, not knowing what to do.
After a while, she figured she could find a recipe for something fun, so she went to the library. She rummaged around the books for a bit before finding one that looked interesting, then she jumped up on Lalna's oversized and extremely comfortable armchair. However, after rifling through the boo
Fallen part 3When Xephos finally woke up, it was dark, cold, and he was in immense pain. The ground beneath him was cold and hard, like concrete. His glowing blue eyes barely cast enough light for him to see by, so he fumbled in his pockets until he found the small fragment of glowstone that Honeydew had given him in the Nether.
By the light of the glowstone, he could see that he was in a cell.
Jumping at the sudden voice, Xephos turned to his right, relieved beyond belief to see Honeydew in the cell right next to him. They were separated by only a single layer of iron bars.
“A-are you okay?” asked Xephos. His throat was dry, his jaw hurt, and his head throbbed. All that pain, however, was shadowed by the agony in his shoulder. He clutched his arm as he scooted over to Honeydew, too nauseated and weak to stand.
“I'm fine,” said Honeydew. “They just drugged me. You got beat to a pulp!”
“Yeah, I remember... kinda...” mumbled Xephos
Yogscast: Stolen part 1Prologue
It was finally complete. After all this time – all the pain and anger.
He held up the device to examine it, his form flickering from mostly solid to mostly transparent.
It was the blood that had done it. The Enderman and Ender Dragon blood had been plentiful and somewhat easy to obtain, but he had also been lucky to get enough of the blood of the Enderborn and the Enderbeast to make it work.
The magic he had used was dark, of course. He had ripped the teleportation energy from the blood and condensed it in the cracked blue power crystal from the back of the salvaged power glove.
The rest of the metal he had used to make a gun.
It was time to leave.
He only had one shot at this. After the first and only charge, the energy from the blood would be lost, and he had no more blood of the Enderbeast to make a new one.
He calibrated it for the Nether.
Then he aimed it at the ground and pulled the trigger.
There was a sharp crack, and a bright purple and blue light shot fr
Behind the Walls part 1Escaping had been the easy part. There was so much chaos after the outbreak that nobody noticed him walking out. Those two fools were so busy trying to rebuild their precious labs. He had simply walked out the front door... after a quick pit stop by the weapons and development division. He had everything he needed to progress with the plan he had been preparing since the minute he stepped out of the cloning vat.
He opened the door and stepped out into the sunlight, flinching at how bright it was. It was his first time ever seeing the sun.
He took a deep breath, and the wind blew across the field. The air was so different out here. It even tasted different. Not stale like the stagnant air of the glass cube that had held him since he first came into existence.
Glancing over his shoulder one last time, he stepped out of the shadow of the mountain and into the light for the first time in his life.
An evil lopsided grin crept across his scarred face. In one smooth movement, he strapped the
Broken CircuitryIt happened again. Of course, it happened all the time, but not now. Not when she was with him.
It was late at night. Usually they would both be in different parts of the castle by now; she would be in her tower sleeping, and he would be in his lab, working on some miscellaneous project and watching her while she slept like he normally did. That was when it would usually happen. Almost every night, like clockwork. When it happened, he would cut off the portal letting him see her so that his screams wouldn't wake her up. The pain that followed was usually so intense that he would pass out and wake up later. It was usually the only sleep he got.
But this time was different. He was with her. They were working on a project that had taken them all day. He was teaching her how to build a force field emitter. She was learning quickly, like she always did.
He only realized what time it was when he began to have trouble moving his right hand, the mechanical one.
Oh no... he thought. N
Stolen part 7Ridge was standing right next to the portal when the bomb went off.
Bolts of electricity shot from the portal and flew off into the distance to presumably kill any clone or Bedrock zombie that was left. Then the portal itself exploded in a flash of purple and electricity.
The explosion flung Ridge backwards, and he landed flat on his back on the ground, unable to hear anything for a moment.
After the shock wore off, everything went quiet. Ridge lifted his head and looked at the portal. It had gone out.
The Nether was sealed.
Slowly, he heard the voices of some of the others. Mainly Lomadia. She was asking what happened.
Ridge slowly stood up and looked back at the others. They had spread out now, but all of them were staring wide-eyed at the portal, and the air was buzzing with electricity and confusion.
Lomadia was standing right there, staring up at him and trying to speak to him. Zoeya was in the back of the crowd, crying.
Ridge cleared his throat, forcing his voice to be steady and
Ghost part 13 (Final)
Nothing but silence followed Trott's announcement. Silence and the wind, along with the occasional stifled sob from the heartbroken walrus.
It took a moment for Lomadia and Ridge to process what Trott had just said. They looked at each other with worry and fear; Ridge had told Lomadia all about what happened with Void. He told her about it the first time he spoke with her after Xephos died.
Slowly, Lomadia knelt down in front of the inconsolable engineer. She put a gentle hand on his shaking shoulder, and he looked up at her, despair written all over his face.
“Trott,” she said gently, “can you tell us what happened?”
“They're gone,” Trott choked out. “T-they're both gone...”
“Start from the beginning,” whispered Lomadia. “Tell us everything that happened.”
Trott gulped and took a deep breath to try and stop his shaking. He glanced past Lomadia's shoulder to see the beach and the ocean. It was a little past midnigh
Behind the Walls part 3Nano and Lalna walked in silence, their heads low and their shoulders hunched against the strong wind that had picked up.
Lalna hadn't spoken since they set off, and Nano couldn't blame him. After what Lalnable had said, he was probably having an unpleasant time to say the least.
Nano was also keeping a close eye on him to see how the poison was affecting him. They still didn't know what exactly it did, but she had her suspicions. She noticed how he would occasionally shoot a nervous glance over his shoulder or look around, flinching a bit as if expecting something to be there. She noticed he had also started nervously scratching at his left arm. However, she had noticed him doing that before he got poisoned, so that could be his nervousness showing through. It was also possible he was looking over his shoulder for Lalnable or Xephos, since both of them seemed like enemies at the moment.
The whole situation was so confusing it made her nauseous.
“Lalna, how do you feel?
Eternal part 11 (Final)
The sun was setting behind the mountain, but the cold air was still.
Lomadia stood holding a torch. To her left stood Nano and Lalna, who was pale and struggling to stand and breathe in the cold air. To her right stood Xephos, Honeydew, and Nilesy. Their eyes were red, and Nilesy's lip was still trembling.
Taking a deep breath, Lomadia stepped forward and set the torch down at the base of the funeral pyre. The dry dead wood caught instantly, and the flames spread quickly upwards towards the still body of Ridge.
She stepped back, and they watched in silence as the pyre and the body burned.
Staring at the fire, she thought back to yesterday morning, when they had found his body. She had also found a note on his bedside table. She had read it so many times that she could recite it in her mind.
“If you're reading this, it means I'm probably dead. I'm sick and dying, and I know I'm not going to survive the night. If I somehow do, I'll keep this letter with me and put it out again t
SymbioticNano had always had really good control of the Flux. Of course... until it started to get stronger. Then it got harder to control. Especially when she was experiencing strong emotions. Whenever she got angry or scared, the Flux would try and protect her. It would try and fix the problem to keep her safe.
The Flux was an extension of her. As a result, it always responded to her emotions.
She knew how it responded to fear and anger, but she didn't know how it would respond to other emotions.
She had to find out the hard way how the Flux responded to happiness.
She couldn't exactly remember what the occasion was, but it had ended with her and Lalna both being a bit drunk. Not bad enough to be hungover afterward or do something stupid like jump in the smeltery, but just enough for Nano's control of her Flux to slip a bit.
She didn't remember what Lalna had said, but it had been really sweet and thoughtful. And because she was a bit drunk, she had kissed him. The kiss lasted for a good ten
